I had to have a deep cavity filling which Marie has filled. She said that if my tooth bothers me, she woudl put some softening material on top of the nerve to help it to recover. A week later I came with complains that my tooth was not quite settled, I had a little bit of pain but nothing too serious. She sent me away without doing anything. The next week I came with loads of pain,by that time she said that the tooth is dying I need root canal, prescribed antibiotics. Though she does root canals , but she admitted that her success rate is low and directed me to the specialist that cost £700 for the job. I made a bit of research to find out that such specialists are recommended in complex cases, but from she did give me any indications that my case is complex.
so, I'm wondering
a) why I was sent to this expensive specialist if the procedure can be done twice as cheap.
b) why Marie did not look after my tooth when it was still possible to help the nerve to heal.
c) why the surgery list Root Canal as available treatment, but not feeling confident to perform it for the clients.

Very unhappy, have many questions that are not listed to in the surgery as they rush you out ...
